My name is Shannon Hancock. I’m a Canadian writer of short fiction and creative nonfiction.
My short stories explore what happens in human relationships during moments of crisis and chaos. My characters deal with the fallout of moments of poor judgment, struggle with decisions that are too much to bear, keep secrets (or don’t), and search for connection (or turn their backs on it).
They surprise themselves. They often surprise me. And if I’m lucky, they will surprise you.
